Easter Weekend

I can't wait for this weekend! Why? Because we're going to see more people give their lives to Christ this Easter Weekend than any Weekend so far...at least that's what we're praying for. Pray that with me, would you?

If you’re not meeting a guest at a specific service time, come to the Sunday, 8:30 am service. At least for the next few weeks. Thanks for that, in advance. Also, park at Office Max if it is possible for you. We will need all the free parking spots here on our property.

And be on time, would you?!? The Easter music this weekend is incredible. I had the chance to hear the rehearsal this past week and it was extremely moving and powerful! You don't want to miss a single thing.

New Web Site

It is up. Our new website has arrived. I am so excited about it. It has taken us about 1 year, but it is done. Kit McKee has designed it for us. I just want to give him some props, because he has put a lot of time and energy in it. Thanks Kit, it looks great!

There are a lot of cool features on it. This can be used as a great tool to bring people to faith.

ForgivING

Proverbs 4:23 says, “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”

Wow, what a great message on ForgivING! Pastor Jeff opened up with a very personal story about hurt... we all have a story where we were hurt real bad.

Choosing to not forgive will eat at you and raise bitterness in your life. That bitterness will ripple out into ALL of your relationships and like a wrecking ball, create disaster.

Are you keeping score with your hurts? Forgiveness does not keep score.

Healing starts with Forgiveness and Forgiveness starts with God.

GivING

How is my heart?

Luke 12:15 says' And He said to them, 'Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of things he possesses."

Pastor Jeff did a great job communicating the need for giving this past weekend. Many times we rob ourselves of blessings when we hold on to "stuff".

Are you a giver or are you a taker? Taking sounds more fun, but in reality we have more joy when we give.

God owns it all anyway. We just have the priveledge of using it. What are you doing with your "stuff".

That do we mean by ING? Well, its not:

- The Isaac Newton Group of Telescopes
or
- The Iraqi National Guard

"-ing", is a suffix added to verbs for use in the active present tense (e.g. run versus running). The name of this grammar usage is called gerimd.

We are talking about three actions God wants us to be involved in. Be there this weekend for the big reveal!
